Why brokers partner with us

Four reasons pros work with us.

The things you actually care about — not the things marketing decks usually lead with.

Your client stays your client.

The seller relationship is yours, period. We don't market to your book. We don't cold-call your region. We don't retain your client after the deal closes. We work inside the deal you brought us. Full stop.

50,000 buyers, curated by hand.

Our buyer network was built over 20 years, mostly by referral. Real operators, PE funds, family offices, and strategic acquirers — not scraped leads. We know what each of them is hunting and match your listing to the five who actually buy deals like it.

Senior-led every deal.

Every co-broker engagement is run by a senior deal lead with 100+ closed transactions behind them. You're not getting passed to a junior or a call center. You're working alongside someone who has negotiated deals the size of yours.

We run the deal machine.

CIM production. Marketing. Buyer sourcing. Pre-qualification. NDA management. Diligence coordination. Negotiation support. You stay client-facing. We handle the back-of-house operation that turns your introduction into a closed deal.

How it works

Three steps from intro to close.

Most co-broker relationships kick off on day zero and go live within 72 hours.

1

Setup

Sign a simple 2-page co-brokerage agreement. Specifies the listing, the fee split, and the term. We provide the template — no attorney wrangling required. Most partners sign the same day we talk.

2

Market

We produce the CIM, build the marketing materials, and launch the listing into our full buyer network with priority placement. You stay primary with your seller; we handle buyer-side inquiries, outreach, and qualification.

3

Qualify & Close

We pre-qualify every buyer through NDA and Proof of Funds before they reach you. Serious buyers only. We coordinate diligence and support negotiation straight through to close. You disburse per the agreement.

Fit criteria

What we co-broker — and what we don't.

We'd rather be honest up front than waste anyone's time halfway in.

We co-broker

  • Any digital business — if it generates revenue online, we know the buyers
  • Deal size $250K and up — no ceiling on the high side
  • U.S. and international sellers (we've closed deals in Canada, UK, EU, AU)
  • Your client stays the primary relationship, always
  • Both asset sales and equity sales

We don't co-broker

  • Pure brick-and-mortar businesses with no digital component
  • Listings below $250K asking (process doesn't pay out for either side)
  • Distressed asset sales — we'll refer you to a specialist
  • Listings where you want us to take the primary client relationship
  • Shell-entity flips or anything without clean financials
"I brought Website Properties a SaaS client I didn't have the buyer network to sell. They closed it in 80 days at the top of our valuation range, kept the client with me the whole way, and paid the split same day as wire. I've co-brokered four more deals with them since."

Broker FAQ

The questions pros ask first.

Clear answers on splits, exclusivity, deal scope, and the co-broker agreement.

01How does the fee split work?
It's set per deal. The split depends on the size of the transaction and what each side brings to it — your seller relationship and deal prep on one side; our buyer network, marketing, pre-qualification, and deal facilitation on the other. We agree on it together, in writing, before any work begins. Either way, you get paid at close — same day as wire.
02What if my client wants to go direct with Website Properties after close?
They won't, because you'll still be their primary contact throughout the deal. But if they ever did, we'd decline. Our co-brokerage agreement includes a non-solicitation clause that protects your relationship.
03Do I have to exclusively use WP for all future digital deals?
No. No exclusivity, ever. Co-broker with us on the deals you want to, and handle others however you want. We earn the next deal on the merits.
04Can I introduce multiple clients at once?
Yes. Each listing gets its own co-brokerage agreement, but setup is quick after the first one. Some of our partners have 8–10 active co-broker engagements at once.
05What happens if the deal doesn't close?
Nobody gets paid. We take on the cost of marketing and pre-qualification. You take on the cost of the client relationship. It's how the industry works — and it aligns everyone around actually closing.
06Do you work with international brokers?
Yes. We've co-brokered with brokers in Canada, the UK, the EU, and Australia. U.S. buyers acquire digital businesses globally, and our buyer network follows the deal.
07Is there a deal-size minimum?
$250K asking price. Below that, neither of us makes enough on the process to justify our time. Above that, there's no ceiling — we've closed deals from $250K up through $20M+.
08I'm not a licensed broker — can I still earn?
Yes — but the co-broker program isn't the right fit. Accountants, attorneys, consultants, and advisors should look at our Referral Program instead. Same goal, simpler structure.
